Light up the Bluff, Lake Bluff Park

The Community Tree Lighting ceremony always takes place on the first Friday of December; this year December 1st. The St. Joseph High School Choir begins Christmas carols near the tree located at the corner of Broad and Lake Boulevard at 6 p.m. with the ceremony taking place at 6:30 p.m. Over 1 million lights come alive along Lake Bluff Park as it is transformed into a winter wonderland!

6th Annual Live Mannequins

 Watch storefronts and windows of participating downtown businesses come alive from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Volunteers from the community will pose perfectly still, like mannequins. This event is free to the public and a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit. This year's theme is literature so come see your favorite characters brought to life!
